The second round of funding was approved last evening by County Council. This places a new $5 million into the Small Business Emergency Grant Program. The Greater Akron Chamber will once again administer the program and distribute funds.
Applications will open May 14th at noon and will close Friday, May 22nd at 9 a.m. Those who made previous applications will remain within the que. New businesses who wish to apply should be ready to submit information May 14th. Businesses who received previous funding will not be rewarded in this second round.
