Now more than ever is why we are a Chamber of Commerce.

Please join The Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce in updating the below small business information sharing spreadsheet, so that you will be able to know how to support local business through this crisis. It will continue to grow with your help!

Here’s How it works:

1. Check list for your favorite local business: List of Tallmadge businesses who offer gift certificates/carry out

2. If business not listed, verify what they offer. Complete the form on this page or at this link: Please fill out form

3. This list automatically updates in real time!

4. Please add a retailer (or a few). Then buy a gift certificate (or a few)!

5. Win-Win! Only together can we ensure that Main Street still stands open for business long after this pandemic is extinct.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans now open for Ohio Small Businesses

What's an EIDL?

  • EIDLs may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills.
  • The interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses without credit available elsewhere; businesses with credit available elsewhere are not eligible. The interest rate for non-profits is 2.75%.
  • SBA offers loans with long-term repayments in order to keep payments affordable, up to a maximum of 30 years. Terms are determined on a case-by-case basis, based upon each borrower’s ability to repay.

Virtual Networking

The developments of the last few weeks are the reason we need to stick together as business leaders and support each of our small businesses; that is how we ensure that we will come out of this crisis a stronger community. Your Chamber of Commerce maintains its commitment to work tirelessly through these unprecedented times to make certain that our members have the latest information on available resources, have a venue to share both their needs as well as their offerings, and to serve as a collective voice to our community the need to shop local.  In addition, we will continue to introduce new and innovative programming over the weeks ahead.

The first of those programs will be our new Virtual Networking Lunch every Friday in March! We may have cancelled our in-person lunch, but we are not canceling the networking!

The concept is simple: order breakfast, lunch, or dinner from one of our listed participating Chamber members any day this week.  Snap a photo of the meal, the menu, the receipt, a (properly social distanced) selfie with the delivery person, whatever! Then, send us that photo with your 30 second commercial written out: what you do, any sales or specials, any above and beyond disinfecting that you are particularly proud of, whatever you'd like to share! Be sure to include your preferred email and/or phone number so your fellow members can stay connected!

Every Friday, we will compile every Chamber member who participated into an email and social media blast.  This will ensure your business updates are still heard by thousands in our community AND we can still support buying a local meal.  BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! Everyone who participates will be entered into a drawing each Friday for a $50 gift card which your Chamber of Commerce will buy for you from the local small business of your choice!  Just send your information and photos to Jon@TallmadgeChamber.com.

Please always feel free to contact your Chamber of Commerce if we can be of assistance to you in anyway during these uncertain of times.  Only together can we ensure that Main Street still stands open for business long after this pandemic is extinct.
